Young Adult Author Series
Harding University’s Graduate Reading Programs present Young Adult Authors for lectures and small group discussion. These events are a wealth of knowledge and an opportunity to get the inside scoop on published authors. Teachers spend the weekend with the authors, then bring the wisdom gained back to the students in their classroom.
I have been so fortunate as to have the opportunity to visit with some of the most popular and current Young Adult Authors of today. This year is no exception. On November 7-8 I will visit with D. Anne Love, Trenton Lee Stewart, and Kirby Larson. On January 16-17 I will visit with Jacqueline Woodson. Neal Shusterman will be the visit on February 6-7 and Jennifer Holm on April 24-25. I am so excited to be able to discuss and listen to these authors about their many talents in writing and reading.
Tonight was awesome!!! The authors were fantastic and Harding University is a beautiful and peaceful place to get in touch with your reading side.
